There are a range of grants, rebates and low interest loan schemes available to businesses from all tiers of government. You can often add together incentives from different sources.

Ku-ring-gai Council

• Better Business Rebates. Up to $2000 rebate for a range of energy efficiency improvements. Level 2 energy audits. Energy efficiency improvements like LED lighting, timers, sensors, efficient air conditioning and fridges. Rooftop solar and shared EV chargers. To access these incentives businesses must be members of the Better Business Partnership program which is free.

NSW State Government

• Batteries for Business Incentive. 20kWh up to 30MWh. 20-40% discount depending on size and whether you install solar as well. Can be combined with Commonwealth government Cheaper Home Batteries Program.

Commonwealth Government

• Cheaper Home Batteries Program. Approximately 30% discount. 5-100kWh. Installer includes discount in quoted price.
